Wunibald Deininger v Ostravském muzeu
11. 5. 2008 v 17.15 | autor: Jaroslav NěmecNedávno jsem v článku „Hotel Palace aneb stavby architekta Wunibalda Deiningera jako barometr společenských změn v Ostravě“ (text byl publikován i na ostravablog.cz) psal o architektonickém díle Wunibalda Deiningera. Jeho budovy Hotelu Palace zatím ještě stojí a o původní architektonické koncepci si můžete udělat názor na výstavě, kterou od 14. května 2008 můžete vidět v Ostravském muzeu.
ps: Můj text o významu díla Wunibalda Deiningera pro Ostravu najdete zde: Hotel Palace aneb stavby architekta Wunibalda Deiningera jako barometr společenských změn v OstravěOtto Wagner byl výrazným architektem přelomu 19. a 20. století. Jeho práce se staly určujícím prvkem v téměř všech oblastech stavebního umění. Pro tuto výstavu se Walter Zednicek pokusil vyfotografovat stavby Otto Wagnera tak, jak by je Wagner sám rád viděl. Bylo možné také ukázat, jak pozdější generace některé z jeho staveb zohyzdily. Ale cílem této výstavy není kritizovat pozdější necitlivé zásahy, nýbrž představit Otto Wagnera, protože nám i dnes má stále co říci.
Souběžně probíhající výstava připravená salcburským muzeem představuje salcburské stavby a nábytek vytvořený podle návrhů jednoho z Wagnerových žáků – architekta a designéra Wunibalda Deiningera. Tento významný představitel rakouské architektury vytvořil z tradice a moderny vlastní styl a jeho tvorba tak osciluje mezi funkcionalismem a ornamentem, expresionismem a věcností.
Ostravské muzeum doplnilo expozici o dobové i současné fotografie staveb nejen Wunibalda Deiningera, ale i dalších Wagnerových žáků (Otokar Bém, František Fiala aj.), kteří zanechali svůj výrazný rukopis na architektonické podobě Ostravy. [zdroj textu: www.ostrmuz.cz]
